I am a beginner. What class should I book?

 

Most of our classes are suitable for all levels. We'd especially recommend:

  • Duha's Yin Yoga class on Mondays at 6pm;

  • Kanwal's Hatha Deep Release classes on Thursdays at 6pm and 7.15pm;

  • Melissa's Hatha class on Saturdays at 10am; or

  • Jodie's Vinyasa class on Saturdays at 11.15am. 

Take your pick! When you arrive, let the instructor know that you're a beginner and they'll take good care of you. 

What should I bring to class?

 

Yourself! It'd be best to wear comfortable clothing for any class you book at For the Core. We provide mats and equipment for you to use, unless you'd prefer to bring your own. Towels are also available to rent. 

Do you have showers or changing rooms?

 

Due to the size and space of the studio, we do not currently have showers or changing rooms. However, our bathroom has ample space for you to change if you need to. 

I have an injury. Can I still join a class?

 

Of course; our instructors are on hand to help you where possible. Speak to one before a class. 

I am pregnant. Can I still join a class?

 

Again, of course! Our instructors are on hand to help you where possible. Speak to one before a class. You will also be required to sign a Pregnancy Health & Safety form prior to joining the class, which stipulates that you have sought and received clearance from a medical professional before attending a class. What happens if I am running late?

 

In order for our classes to run undisturbed, we do not allow students to join a class if they are more than 5 minutes late. 

Do you offer one-on-one classes?

 

We do not currently offer one-on-on sessions but sign up to our mailing list, as this may change in the near future!

How long have you been open?

We opened our doors in May 2017. 

 

I am a yoga instructor interested in teaching at For the Core. How do I get involved?

 

We are always on the look out for new talent. Drop us an email at info@forthecore.co.uk telling us a little bit about yourself and we'll take it from there. 

Can I hire your studio space?

 

Our studio space is available for hire, but only for one-on-one sessions. We also have our bar area upstairs available for hire. POA. Contact us at bookings@forthecore.co.uk to find out more.
